Achievements, past and present

Edgbarrow Trampoline Club is one of the most established trampoline clubs in the UK and has been running since 1983. It has produced and trained more than 70 junior and senior international competitors including 2 Olympians, 5 reserve Olympians, 3 World Cup Final winners, many senior and junior World and European medallists and numerous age group and senior British Champions.

Well known trampolining names of those who trained and competed for Edgbarrow include the world beating synchro pairing of Kirsten Lawton and Claire Wright. Both ladies medalled at major world and European junior and senior international events in individual and synchronised trampolining and both went on to represent Britain in the Olympics. Kylie Walker was 3 times world champion in double mini trampoline, after moving to England she returned to individual trampoline and trained at Edgbarrow at senior international level representing New Zealand for many years. Other high profile junior and senior international trampolinists names include Paul Smyth, Mark Alexander (two times Olympic reserve) and Natalie O’Connor.

Before retiring following an amazingly successful career, Edgbarrow was the home of Amanda Parker, World Games champion, World Champion and World Cup champion in synchronised trampolining, World Cup and European individual finalist and European  Silver Medallist in synchronised trampolining, as well as the 2012 Olympic reserve.

Other recent junior and senior GB internationals include Liam Abrahams and Ben Watts for trampoline, and Caitlin Tarrant in DMT.

Edgbarrow has always been well represented in home nations representation, with current Welsh members Cerys McIntosh, Caitlin McGregor, Lucy Barker and Grace Titheridge. We currently have new up and coming juniors selected to be part of the GB Squad system 2023:- Tahlia Williams in the England Junior Trampoline Squad and Rachel Tapster and Eleanor Edwards in the England DMT Squad.
