Who is Edgbarrow Trampoline Club suitable for?
Edgbarrow Trampoline Club is primarily a competitive club, where training our members for the national and international podium is the ultimate goal. We require a commitment of two sessions per week minimum and members are required to compete at either club, regional or national level.
However there are other classes run at the centre. If you would prefer non-competitive classes, please visit the Bracknell Trampoline Centre website for more information and contact Sam King on firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
Where do I drop off or pick up my child?
For safety reasons we ask that you accompany your child into reception at the beginning of the session and pick them up from there at the end.. There is free parking on the premises, daytime parking must take place in the ‘triangle’ area on the right hand side of the driveway just after the trampoline centre entrance, evenings and weekend parking (unless otherwise informed) can be in the main school car park directly to the left and right of the school Coningsby entrance. There are bike racks beside the trampoline centre entrance for people wishing to cycle.
What will the children need to wear?
At Edgbarrow Trampoline Club we require our members to wear suitable sporting clothing; this maybe shorts and a t shirt, or a leotard. The choice is yours! Jewellery and piercings are not permitted and must either be taped up or removed for the duration of the session.
What will my child need for a session?
During the winter it is often cold so please send your children in more than just their training kit. There is also a water fountain at the centre but please provide a bottle for your child to drink from in the hall. Only water is allowed to be drunk within the training hall.
Can parents come and watch?
There is a small spectator area in reception with a viewing window into the training hall for parents to watch. No parents/guardians are allowed in the training hall.
Are the coaches qualified and CRB checked?
All our coaches are fully qualified to the level they are coaching/mentoring, they are encouraged to attend CPD courses and regular coach meetings. They have up to date safeguarding and emergency procedure training, DBS checks and have attended a staff Induction.
Can children attend more than two sessions?
Yes of course! ETC members are required to train a minimum of twice per week… if you would like to increase your number of sessions please contact Hannah Lawton on email@example.com
How many children are there per trampoline?
The maximum number of people to a trampoline is 5. If there is a larger number, the coach may choose to split the group and run group over 2 trampolines to provide more goes.
If I want to know how my child is getting on, what do I do?
The coaching team are very approachable so please arrange to speak to them either at the beginning or end of the session. You can arrange a day/time by contacting your primary coach by email, please visit the ‘coaching team’ page or your membership pack for contact details.
